In ChromQuest 5.0 the software will crash due to lack of memory if PDA spectra are collected for a long enough time with closing and opening the instrument in the software.
To install the fix, reboot the computer and copy the files with the dll and mda extensions into the ChromQuest installation directory. The readme file lists other base product issues that the fix addresses as well. Some of these are not related to the ChromQuest product. This hot fix has been tested by our supplier to verify that it corrects the problems, but has not been fully regression tested and should be applied only to systems experiencing these specific problems. If you are not severely affected by these specific problems, you may wish to wait for the next ChromQuest service pack that will contain the fix. |
